Grand Forks – Gallery 2 Opening Reception

Visit Gallery 2 for the opening reception of our summer exhibitions on July 21 from 1 pm to 3 pm. New work by Lou Lynn, Willa Downing, and printmakers from the Alberta Printmakers Society will be installed; it will be another interesting and thought provoking series of exhibitions.

A NEW crafter’s and farmer’s market that contributes to a sense of social and economic vibrancy to the Kootenay Boundary area, on every Saturday mornings from 9:00 am-2:00 pm, beginning June 16.

Come and see what’s under the Rainbow! You will find some of the freshest fruits, vegetables, meat, homemade canning goods and eggs. Talented local artisans and artists sell a variety of arts, crafts, illustrations, natural body products, tie dye apparel, one of a kind jewelry, local artisan wine and spirits. Food trucks also on-site each week.

Christina Lake – Valdy in Concert

Start Homecoming Celebrations on Friday night with the return of Valdy to the Christina Lake Welcome Centre!

Valdy is the winner of two Juno Awards for Folk Singer of the Year and Folk Entertainer of the Year, and has received seven additional Juno nominations. His fourteen albums have achieved sales of nearly half a million copies, four of which are certified gold.

CLAAS is proud to welcome back Static Shift!!!

The Static Shift are a captivating rock n’ roll sound/band that hail out of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. A dynamic young trio that fills the stage with incredible full sound. These extremely talented musicians/songwriters have been a smash hit for the last three years at the Centre! They have recently appeared and won CTV’s “The Launch” and have been touring with Collective Soul.
