Gallery 2 – the Grand Forks Art Gallery is Boundary Country’s public art gallery. Since 1984 the gallery has been a centre for contemporary visual arts and culture programming for locals and visitors alike. Gallery 2 is housed in the heritage 1910 courthouse building located right on highway 3 at the west end of downtown Grand Forks.
On the main floor, the gift shop showcases a carefully curated collection of regional crafts, the art rental gallery features a sample of local artworks available to rent, and the Heritage gallery provides a graphic overview of the history of the area.
In the main galleries upstairs, engaging exhibitions will surprise and delight you and provoke conversation. Gallery 2 presents professionally curated exhibits that place Grand Forks and the Boundary Region in the larger contemporary cultural context.
